Congrats to our Fall Indoor Champions: Team CyHawk!

18 teams took part in our Inaugural Fall Indoor League Tournament at Stoney’s on December 16th. Eight were lucky enough to escape pool play and make it to our Championship bracket.

The Final 8 teams featured many of the regular season’s top teams and produced some heavyweight quarterfinals match-ups including a rematch of our Outdoor Championship.

The finals featured newcomer You Like Begs? versus the defending champions CyHawk. The defending champs defeated You Like Begs? in a thrilling best-of-3 Championship Match that was won by the slimmest of margins; 21-20, 21-20.

CyHawk received 4 Nuggets tickets, a $50 Society Gift Card and a $25 Smashburger Gift Card for being crowned League Champs.

Want a shot at the champs? For our leagues that start in January, CyHawk is playing in our Tuesday League at Stoney’s and You Like Begs? is playing in our Thursday League at Society.

Our next Indoor Champion will be crowned on March 4th at Stoney’s!

Congrats to our Fall Outdoor Champions: Team CyHawk!

They defeated Team RamJam in a thrilling best-of-3 Championship Match.

CyHawk received 4 Nuggets tickets for being crowned League Champs, courtesy of our friends at Coors Light.

Want to see the best of our outdoor teams in action? CyHawk is playing in our Tuesday League and RamJam is playing in our Wednesday League.

An Indoor Champion will be crowned on December 16th!

Cornhole Rules

  • 2 Players from each team play. Teams can rotate players from game-to-game but can not rotate players mid-game.
  • Teams are allowed to use subs for any regular season games.
  • The line to throw is the front edge of the board.
  • Bags can not bounce onto the board. Any bag that has rolled or bounced onto the board should be immediately removed so that it doesn’t interfere with subsequent throws.
  • Games are to 21 using cancellation scoring
    • 3 Points for every bag in the hole.
    • 1 Point for every bag on the board
    • Win by 2 or first to 25
    • Does not need to “land” exactly on 21 or any other winning score
    • No penalty for going “over”
  • ‘Final Inning’: Due to time constraints, if the League Coordinator requests a ‘Final Inning’ each player gets one more round of tosses. The score at the end of the Final Inning will determine the winner.

Tournaments

  • Tournament seeding will be determined by Win%. All teams qualify for the End-of-Season Tournament.
  • In any instance that ‘Exact Scoring’ is being used, i.e. the winning team must land on exactly 21 to win, the following rules will apply:
    • There is no penalty or reduction in points for a team that exceeds 21 on a given turn. They simply remain at their current point total.
    • When a team does exceed 21 on a turn (“Busts”, “Goes Over”) they will throw first to start each turn until the other team scores or busts.
